Although coastal cuisine is primarily associated with dishes featuring fish and seafood, at Bar Meduza we also cater to lovers of plant-based cuisine. Vegan dishes—when prepared properly—can be just as tasty, healthy, nutritious, and varied as meat-based cuisine.
Our chefs know how to prepare plant-based ingredients so skillfully that many people don’t even realize there isn’t a single gram of meat on their plate. Impossible? Not at all!
On our menu, you’ll find delicious mushrooms stuffed with vegan cheeses made exclusively from natural ingredients such as nuts, seeds, starch, and vegetable oils, with the addition of carefully selected spices, which are then fermented in a manner similar to classic hard cheeses. We top it all off with a Georgian chashushuli salad. We complement our vegan appetizers with an elegantly presented cheese board. See for yourself how delicious gouda, cheddar, mozzarella, and feta taste with a side of homemade jam.
We recommend vegan cuisine to anyone looking for an alternative to meat and fish. These light meals delight with their harmony and break the mold. For fans of Asian cuisine, we recommend eggplant à la Katsu, inspired by Japanese cuisine. On cooler days, a vegan potato pancake with mushroom stew or sweet potato à la chili con carne is the perfect choice. When the heat is pouring down, try a light tofu and mango salad. It’s refreshing and energizing during hot weather.

Dog-friendly restaurant
If you’re traveling with a dog, you’ve surely noticed that your dining options automatically become more limited. Not all restaurant owners welcome dogs in their establishments. In practice, the law does not regulate whether pets are allowed in the dining area, and restricting this option is the owner’s prerogative. We’re unique in this regard. Our motto is “Pet-Friendly.”
We welcome all dog owners to Bar Meduza. We’ll treat you with the hospitality you deserve, and when it gets hot outside, your dog can count on a bowl of cool water. We arrange the tables so that your dog can lie down comfortably without blocking the aisle. On cooler days, we’ll also provide a soft blanket so your pet doesn’t have to lie on the cold tiles. While you enjoy your meal and have a good time, your dog can relax.
The entire Meduza staff has been trained in working with animals. We’re known for our friendly approach, healthy boundaries, and courtesy—not only toward our guests but also toward their four-legged companions. We practice full acceptance—we don’t limit the size or number of dogs. You can come visit us with a tiny rat terrier or a Great Dane—there’s plenty of room.
Of course, dogs aren’t our only guests. If you care for another type of pet, you’re also welcome here.
However, we kindly remind all our guests that, in accordance with applicable regulations, the owner bears full responsibility for their pet.

Ustka lies along the route of many important cycling trails in northern Poland. It’s often passed through by cyclists traveling along the Velo-Baltica (R10) and the Disused Railroad Trail. Finished your ride and feeling a little hungry? Or maybe you want to explore Ustka a bit longer and are looking for a charming spot for a delicious dinner? Feel free to stop by!
We also welcome travelers who arrive on two wheels. Cycling is a wonderful sport—it’s relaxing for the mind and offers the chance to discover completely new places. However, cyclists often face the problem of safely storing their equipment. Leaving it unsecured in a low-traffic area can be risky.
At Meduza Bar, we guarantee the complete safety of your bike. We take care of your equipment just as much as we take care of you. You can leave it outside the restaurant without any worries. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the area is monitored. The well-lit and busy location further enhances security. Whether you’re riding a simple folding bike or a road bike worth tens of thousands, you can feel just as comfortable.
We recommend that you take your bike computer (GPS), lights, and panniers with you when you get off your bike. There’s plenty of space in our restaurant to store all your gear. Also, remember to secure your bike properly. A cable lock, chain, or U-lock usually effectively deters potential theft attempts.
